It was such a joy to cook together, and we had an amazing time in the kitchen sharing laughs and preparing a delicious dairy Shavuos meal that’s easy to follow and packed with flavor. This episode is all about using simple ingredients, including the classic combination of milk and honey, to create a spread perfect for the holiday.
From creamy pasta to a tangy Greek salad, to a no-fail cheesecake, and a sweet & savory Shavuos salmon, these recipes will have you cooking like a pro in no time. Whether you're celebrating Shavuos or just looking for delicious, simple meals, these dishes are sure to please!

Recipes:
1. 3-Ingredient Penne alla Vodka
A quick and creamy pasta that’s perfect for any meal.
Ingredients:
2 boxes penne pasta, cooked al dente
2 jars marinara sauce
1 ½ cup heavy cream
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Cook the pasta in salted water for 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a separate pot, combine marinara sauce and heavy cream. Stir over low heat until it begins to bubble.
Slowly add parmesan cheese and continue to stir until fully incorporated.
Pour the sauce over the warm pasta. Enjoy!
2. The Best Greek Salad You’ve Ever Had!
A refreshing and vibrant salad, topped with a flavorful homemade feta dressing. This is a family recipe that’s been passed down and is always a crowd favorite.
Salad Ingredients:
3 heads romaine lettuce
1 red onion, diced
4 Persian cucumbers, diced
1 pint cherry tomatoes, sliced
1 cup Kalamata olives, sliced
1 can Goya chickpeas, drained
Feta Dressing:
8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon dry basil
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup olive oil
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, garlic, basil, lemon juice, and olive oil. Stir until well mixed.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Enjoy!
Leftover dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge and used for other salads or dishes.
3. No-Fail Cheesecake
A rich and creamy cheesecake that’s sure to impress.
Ingredients:
2 graham cracker crusts
16 oz cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
4 eggs
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings of your choice: chocolate chips, caramel, cookie dough, etc.
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat with a hand mixer for 5 minutes until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crusts and bake for 60 minutes.
After baking, turn off the oven and let the cheesecake sit inside for an additional 30 minutes.
Once cooled, add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
4. Shavuos Salmon
A simple and flavorful salmon dish with a sweet and savory glaze.
Ingredients:
1 slab baby salmon
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Place the salmon on a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine honey, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Pour the sauce over the salmon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
