We must remember some important points. The first point is that we are in a temporary world, a fleeting moment compared to the eternal life that those who are worthy to have in the next world, our soul is the essence of our existence, and it lives forever. Secondly, we all have a specific purpose in life to accomplish, and some accomplish earlier than others and go to a better life in the world to come, where their souls enjoy real eternal bliss. When a child passes away, it's because they have a short task to accomplish, probably to fix up something from a previous life. After the child accomplishes their task, they are taken back to a better place and do not have to stay in this difficult world. This is all part of Hashem's plan, and it's for the betterment of people.
