Nigun Kelois Hanefesh is not very long, however it is very deep. It combines a feeling of joy and longing למסור נפשו באחד, for the soul abandon its separateness and become lost in Hashem's unity. This nigun was sung by R' Hillel Frotkin from the town of Potsep (250 miles N of Moscow). R' Hillel would daven for many hours each day and this melody was often heard from him. His life was completely dedicated to avodas Hashem, at the expense of his physical health. R' Hillel passed away after being drafted to the Russian army where he refused to eat anything non kosher.
