Since its inception in 1997, RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society) has played a critical role, providing hope and relief for cancer patients, support for their families and the means to survive. On July 24, 2018, thousands of Monroe residents got together at a truly amazing event to support RCCS and to honor the organization. To make this special occasion memorable, RCCS’ Yitzchok Meisels and Shmily Wertzberger tasked Avrumi Schreiber from Freilach Band and Yoily Horowitz from Shira Choir, with presenting something special —a brand new song for the event, to inspire and entertain the large audience. The song - A Yiddish Hartz - was composed by Hershy Rottenberg. Hershy is a 34-year-old Belzer Chassid residing in Belgium, a rising star who has been blessed with incredible talent and has belted out close to a dozen hit songs in the just the past year. With brand new arrangements by our own Tzvi Blumenfeld, Watch and enjoy as Hershy debuts the new song with Freilach and Shira Choir in front of the crowd, and subscribe so you never miss a Freilach video!
